Event, Wedding & Party Hire T&Cs

Deposits and Payments

A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total cost is payable on booking to secure your date. A booking/package is not secured until the non-refundable deposit is paid.

The full balance is due no later than one week before the event.

Quotes are valid for 28 days.

All discounts and special offers are available for a limited time only. Discounts/coupon codes cannot be used in conjunction with another discount/coupon code.

Bond

A REFUNDABLE bond may be required 7 days prior to the event to account for any loss or damage during the event. This bond will be returned in full after the event if no breakage, loss or damage has occurred.

If items are returned unclean, wet, broken or substantially damaged, the hirer will forfeit the bond to the owner. Boho Events & Styling reserves the right to bill the client if substantial loss or damage occurs above the bond amount.

Refund of the bond is solely at the owner’s discretion. Refund of the bond will be made by direct bank deposit within 7 days of the event if:

  • All items are returned
  • All items are returned in their original condition
  • All items are clean and dry unless otherwise arranged
  • Unused hired items cannot be refunded

Timings/set up

Set up/pack-down hours are between 6am-8pm. Late or very early setups will incur an additional $50 – $200 fee.

Any bookings that are scheduled to end after 8pm, will be collected between 6am-9am the following morning.

A distance of no more than 25 metres from the car park to set up location must be allocated. Long distances or difficult access must be discussed early in planning so that appropriate timings and plans can be implemented. Failure to bring such issues to our attention will incur fees.

Rugs and tents will only be set up on freshly mowed grass, concrete, hard internal and or external flooring. Hire items will not be set up on, dirt, bark, sand, gravel or any wet surface.

Parking for a car and trailer must be allocated.

Bell tents require an allocated space on a flat surface. The 4m bell tent will need at least a 7m x 7m space, and the 6m bell tent will need at least a 9m x 9m space. The bell tent required space is outlined in the package inclusions: https://bohoeventsandstyling.com.au/packages/

We recommend that bell tents be set up on your own property. If the bell tent is being set up on a property that does not belong to you, please ensure all required approvals/permits are organised in advance. Boho Events & Styling will not be liable for any fees, fines or damages.

Breakages and damage

At Boho Events & Styling, we understand that some breakages can be unavoidable and reasonable damage (such as a cup) or wear and tear will not incur a fee. However, any discrepancy, breakage, loss or damage MUST be brought to our attention upon conclusion of the event, it is the hirer’s responsibility to check ALL of the equipment upon receipt. All equipment must be thoroughly checked, counted, and cleaned prior to collection.

All hire items; furniture, equipment and decorations remain the property of Boho Events & Styling. All items/hired goods are to be used for their designed purpose only. Boho Events & Styling accepts no responsibility or liability for damage to property or persons from the use of the hired equipment and items once they have left our place of business.

The hirer acknowledges that they are aware of the proper use for which the goods are designed, have inspected the goods, and agree that the goods are in clean condition, in good working order and fit for the purpose of the event. Please note that our items are regularly hired and may not be in perfect condition.

If upon return, the goods are found to be unclean, damaged or missing, not in the same condition as delivered/set up, or not in working order, the hirer shall pay the owner the full expense and costs incurred in order to return the goods to clean working condition or full replacement costs where repair is not possible.

Notice for linen hire (including cushions, mats, throws), damage to linen includes but is not limited to – mildew, tears, cuts, burns – sparkler splatters, candle wax, cigarettes, writing or pen marks.

Cushions, throw rugs and mats MUST NOT be left outside overnight if the hirer agrees for the times to be collected the following day, after the party the items must be stored in a clean, dry undercover location.

In the event of rain – all our items must be moved undercover.

No hire items are to be left with unattended pets.

Our hours of operation are from Monday – Sunday 6am-8pm. If items are to be picked up outside of these hours, a fee will apply.

Hire Period

The hire period for each package is outlined in the package inclusions https://bohoeventsandstyling.com.au/packages/. Please advise us if you require more time and we can arrange a quote for the cost of the additional hire period. Refunds or discounts will not be given if you choose to use less time than the package hire period.

Extended hires need to be requested in writing and fees may apply.

We will work with you to the best of our ability to ensure all hire items are set up and styled ready for your event.

Wet Weather

In the event of bad weather, we will do our very best to accommodate. However, if the risk of damage to our items is too high, we reserve the right to refuse to set them up in unsafe circumstances.

A backup wet weather plan MUST be organised well in advance. If Boho Events & Styling feel, it is too much risk of our items getting wet or damaged we have the right to refuse to set them up until an alternative dry location can be arranged.

In the event of wet weather – wet weather plans must be in place prior to Boho Events & Styling set up.

Uncontrollable Disasters

In the event of an uncontrollable disaster such as a pandemic, flood, fire, earthquake, cyclone etc where we cannot operate due to events, limitations and restrictions out of our control, we will work with you to find a solution. Each situation will be accessed individually and postponements can be offered in these circumstances subject to availability.

Postponements

Boho Events & Styling are happy to work with you regarding postponing your event. Adequate notice of 30 days must be provided to postpone your event. If the reason for the postponement is out of your control; natural disasters, pandemics or government restrictions that prevent Boho Events & Styling from operating as normal, or events taking place, postponements will be treated as follows

  • Postponements must be in writing and sent to tayla@bohoeventsandstyling.com.au
  • Postpone dates are subject to availability
  • No cash refunds are given
  • Postponements must be used within 12 months of the original date, or all payments and events will be forfeited
  • If an event is cancelled after an approved postponement, no refund is given.

Cancellation

In the event of cancellation of the booking, cancellation charges are as follows:

  • Cancellations must be in writing and sent to tayla@bohoeventsandstyling.com.au
  • If the cancellation occurs more than 365 days before the event, we will refund 100% of the cost of the event hire, minus any transaction fees.
  • If cancellation occurs 365 days or less from the original event date, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee equal to the 20% deposit made.

Floral Styling Service T&Cs

Service Agreement

By opting in for the Floral Styling Service on a trial or paid subscription, you confirm that you understand and agree:

  1. All floral arrangements (including vases, décor, styling, greenery and florals) are property of Boho Events & Styling and you are using them on a temporary hire basis only;
  2. You will be liable for any damages, losses or stolen floral arrangements up to the amount of $300;
  3. Floral arrangements are only to be moved by your Floral Styling Service Representative unless permission has been given by Boho Events & Styling.

Payments

Invoices will be sent to the nominated email on the 20th calendar day of each month and are due on the first calendar day for the month in advance of service.

A pro rata invoice will apply for clients who commence their Floral Styling Service outside of the first calendar week of the month.

Direct debit payments are available upon request.

Delivery and Setup

Your Floral Styling Service representative will delivery/ refresh your hired floral arrangement every 2 or 4 weeks based on your selected refresh frequency.

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Boho Events & Styling and its licensors.

Links To Other Web Sites

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Boho Events & Styling.

Boho Events & Styling has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that Boho Events & Styling shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.

We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party web sites or services that you visit.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.

Disclaimer

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or course of performance.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service.

Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
